Overnight, Russian missile and drone strikes have caused electricity outages in multiple districts of Ukraine's capital, the Ukrainian capital.
A number of civilians were injured while inhabitants in eastern neighborhoods were left without electricity and dealt with interruptions to water systems, according to city officials.
Simultaneously, a seven-year-old child was lost their life in a different Russian drone strike in the Zaporizhzhia area in the southeastern part, according to area administrators.
Russian forces has intensified assaults on electrical systems over recent weeks, while officials has called for "concrete actions" from international partners to apply pressure on Moscow.
"The necessity is not window dressing but strong steps - from the United States, Europe and the G7 - in delivering air defence systems and applying sanctions," mentioned in a online statement.
