Nineteen of Medvedev's twenty-one titles have been achieved on hard courts
A comeback Medvedev claimed his first title for over two years with success over Corentin Moutet in the competition title decider.
Medvedev, a former number one, has had a challenging year, winning just a single victory at the major tournaments and experiencing a setback at the American major.
The player's unpredictability on the tennis tour - and issues with his serve in particular - resulted in him exiting of the world's top 10 and ultimately splitting with former trainer Gilles Cervara.
Currently training with his coach and Goetzke, he has gradually improved in the recent weeks - culminating in a hard-fought competitive win over Frenchman Corentin Moutet.
This represents his maiden title after the Italian tournament and maiden on a hardcourt since March of that year.
Victory also indicates the Russian has won twenty-one victories at 21 various events.
"It's the first time I'm at a event with my two daughters together, so to secure a championship is particularly special," said tennis professional the champion.
"This title is in tribute of my younger daughter her name, because the first title I won when my first daughter her name was born was for her."
Medvedev, the 2021 US Open champion, had failed in his previous six championship matches, featuring in Halle previously this season.
Medvedev's retrieving strategy and regular emotional displays on court had led observers to doubt if his skill to play at the top level was over.
Yet the 29-year-old has implemented adjustments in the last few weeks, making an effort to advance forward and compete aggressively, reinforced by an enhanced serve.
Medvedev fought back from a disadvantage in the initial set against the difficult Frenchman, winning 4 of the last five points to gain the advantage.
The pair swapped break points in the middle set before Moutet, attempting for his initial tour title, took control to force a final set.
Moutet defended 4 initial break points in a competitive third set before the Russian won the break to that score to close out the victory.
Appropriately, the winner clinched the win with a rally at the front of the court, with Moutet incapable to control a return after a lengthy match.
